New Sunday Schedule

We have a new schedule of classes on Sundays. The 9 a.m. children's classes remain the same, but please note the following changes:

9 a.m. Men’s Leadership Training
This is taught by Pastor Buhr and requires long-term commitment. The cost is $60 for one year’s materials.

9 a.m. Adult Class - Family Studies (starting with Child Training)
This class is taught by Jorge Ramirez and is open to all adults (men & women) not attending the Men's Leadership Training.

4:30-6 p.m. Biblical Foundations for Living
This is taught by Pastor Buhr and is open to all adults. There will be no child care during this hour. No cost.

5:30-7 p.m. Biblical Ethics Class
This is taught by Pastor Buhr. There will be child care during this hour. No cost.

5:30-7 p.m. Children's Bible Time

Please note that the evening classes are actually one hour long, but we encourage fellowship between the classes from 5:30-6 p.m.

Kids 4 Truth Ministry

Please check out Kids 4 Truth, our new children's clubs on Wednesday evenings. This program runs throughout the school year. Kids 4 Truth is for children from age 3 through 8th grade. Please take time to learn about Kids 4 Truth at the following website: www.fbckids4truth.org


		A word from our pastor

There was a day when church was a vital part of people's lives and an integral part of society. Sadly, today many people never attend church and many have become disenchanted with it. Many feel that the church has failed to meet their needs. Others are confused, with so many different churches to attend. I want you to know that it does not need to be that way.

God did not establish the church to be boring or irrelevant. It is to be a place where people can hear the Word of God faithfully taught and applied to their lives. It is to be a place where people can serve their Lord and minister to others. It is to be a place where lives are changed!

As pastor, I am personally committed to preaching which is biblically accurate, clear, and practical for Christian living. God's Word is indeed relevant to our lives today! We have established our ministries to communicate the truth of God's Word in a friendly atmosphere. It is our goal to meet needs and change lives for God's glory.

We would love to tell you how the Lord can change your life. If you are interested in systematic teaching of the Bible, fellowship with Christians, or if you are just curious, I urge you to come and see the difference at First Baptist Church of Gibraltar.

Adult Bible Study....6:30 p.m.

Kids 4 Truth....................6:30 p.m. (For children age 3 to 8th grade, K4Tmeets at the Church. K4T runs from Sept. - May. )

Children's Choir......6:30 p.m. (For children age 4 - 6th grade, a Children's Choir [and Bible time] is held at the church from June through August.)


		Our Purpose

Our purpose is to glorify God through the ministry of His Word. We seek to accomplish this by edifying believers and evangelizing the lost. We believe that Christians are edified through systematic teaching of the Bible, worship of our Lord, and fellowship with one another.
